Doesn't our ERP already handle this?
ERP systems are usually strongest after a known item or order exists. Build-to-order quoting begins earlier, while customer choices are still changing materials, routing, cost, margin, and delivery. Velosity handles that decision and sends usable work forward.
Where should we start?
Start with the outcome that creates the strongest business case—often faster qualified quotes, protected margin, reliable sales-to-production handoffs, or quicker service resolution. Velosity can then expand with the modules that support the next result.

What's included in the Velosity launch?
The Velosity launch is a collaborative getting started process modeled from customer success experience. Here is what it includes:

- We'll actually spend a lot of time with and energy for you. We limit the Velosity launch to 5 customers concurrently
Are there any long-term contracts?
This is up to you. We offer monthly subscriptions. They make sure that you remain very flexible and that you can cancel at the end of every month. However, if you like, you can also sign up for an annual subscription and pay one year in advance (at a better monthly rate).
How do I present this to my team?
You have two options to present this to your team: first, you can show them a video or recorded webinar. Second, you can book a meeting with us and invite your team for an introduction to Velosity.
Can Velosity fit our deployment requirements?
Velosity supports cloud deployment, and on-premise hosting is available when operational or security requirements call for it. We review connectivity, update, and support implications during scoping.
Who are you guys, anyway?
We are Velosity based in Houston, TX. Our company was founded in 2020 to solve the problem of quoting for make-to-order products. Velosity was the result of this work.
What results should we evaluate?
Measure quote cycle time, expert touches per quote, rework after approval, margin variance, and the time required to produce a defensible delivery date. Your baseline and implementation determine the result, so Velosity does not publish a universal performance guarantee.
What does it integrate with?
Velosity is a modular Business OS for complex manufacturers. CPQ governs configuration, cost, price, BOM, routing, and the commercial decision; PROCESS carries approved requirements into production and service workflows. Teams can start with one measurable outcome and expand without replacing every existing system.
Velosity can exchange customers, items, quotes, orders, BOMs, routes, and status with ERP, CRM, CAD, scheduling, and other operational systems. The right integration boundary depends on which system owns each record and which workflow the implementation is improving.
Velosity also provides APIs for integrations specific to a customer’s systems and operating process.
How secure is my data?
Velosity is hosted on a very robust cloud provider which has comprehensive compliance coverage. The application is designed around the latest state of the art practices for security and extensibility.
